I didnt get much in the way of a good shot from Rotto unfortunately, I did get half way through this one and noticed the problems in the water, Im not sure if its worth atempting the fix it as im not sure if the image is interesting enough. Let me know what you think.
Lastly, I will be heading down to Dunsbrough area on sat and staying for shoots in the eavening and sunday morning, If your down there at the same time or fancy a trip down let me know.

I went over to Penguin Island a few days ago. Waded over there with camera gear held high above the water at 6am, luckily the water was nice and warm. I did get bitten on the foot by something, that certainly woke me up. we had about half an hour of great light then it just died in the ass. I did get a couple of good shots though. These are my favourites.

Hey guys went out for a shoot this morning with another photographer who is quite skilled in the arts of Bird photography. We found a nice spot of mud to sit on and snapped away for about 2 hours. The Stilts that we were watching slowly came in closer and closer, I still needed to crop but I got a couple of shots that I quite like. Let me know what you think.

Well, was not a good weekend for photography, I woke up and there was not a cloud in the sky. Every time I head down south the sky is as bland as it can be. I did shoot a bird in the campsite though, nothing to interesting just a purple swamphen. Checked out Christians gallery, if you havent done it deffinately worth a gander, there is some brilliant work in there.

I had the chance to test out my new 400mm, thanks to Chris, on the weekend. I think there will be a bit of a learning curve to this lens, but its definately an impressive bit of glass. Here is a quick one I took down at Dwellingup yesterday. It is the only one I didnt blur, Had to bump the ISO up quite high due to the shadows.

These two are from sugar loaf rocks. Im not sure on either of them let me know what you think. I know Mr Fletcher always says watch you Highlights. Well I watched them, and thy blew out, I couldnt do anything about it as I was already using my GND filter. Could have maybe waited till a bit later, but im impatient.

Well It would apear that most of my luck was had from the carpark of Cannal Rocks. This is another one I quite fancied, Taken with the the moon setting in the background and the sun rising behind me.

Gday Guys,
Well I went down to Dunsbrough last night after work for some sunset and sunrise action. I decided I would start with Sugar Loaf Rock, but I just couldnt get it right, so I did the worst thing I could have done, I packed up and left. Oh yeah guess when the sky went into overboard with the pinks and yellows, just as I was driving up the road to go back to the campsite. I then went down to Cannal Rocks to check it out for my morning shoot. After a quick scout around, in the pitch black of night, I decided it was a good place to start the next morning off. Got up at 4:20am made my way down there and started shooting. So far I am only happy with this one shot, and its off the rocks from the carpark. Let me know what you think, ill try and find atleast one more from the trip that I like.
Leasons learned this weekend, Even if your doing everything wrong and the photos suck, Just wait around a little bit longer, you never know the sky might just decide to kick some ass.
